Robert L. Mitchell

Robert L. Mitchell is a lifelong resident of Mobile. After graduating from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor's Degree in English in 2002, Mr. Mitchell spent a year teaching school in London, England.

After returning to the U.S., Mr. Mitchell attended the University of Alabama School of Law and received his law degree magna cum laude in just over two years. During law school, he was selected to be a Hugo Black Scholar, served as the senior editor for the Alabama Law Review and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. He has practiced with Cunningham Bounds, LLC since being admitted to the Alabama Bar.

Mr. Mitchell is married to the former Ashley Verneuille of Mobile, and they have a little boy named Alex. When not practicing law or spending time with his family, Mr. Mitchell enjoys exploring the Mobile River Delta.

Affiliations

Mr. Mitchell is a member of the Mobile Bar Association, the Alabama Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Association for Justice. He is also a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Mobile.
