McGettigan v. Ford Motor Company

The United States District Court for the Northern District of California has determined that a national Settlement in the Chamberlan v. Ford case is fair, adequate and reasonable, and entered a final order approving the Settlement. The Settlement became final on December 16, 2005.

Plaintiffs alleged that certain cars manufactured by Ford Motor Company contained defective intake manifolds, manufactured out of plastic.

CLAIMS DEADLINE: MARCH 16, 2006
Class members who have replaced the intake manifolds on their vehicles have until March 16, 2006 to request reimbursement. No claims will be accepted after March 16, 2006.

Class members whose intake manifolds have not failed, will be covered unto a seven-year retroactive extended warranty.
