DIRECTOR of MARKETING and CLIENT SERVICES

Prestigious 50+ year-old plaintiff litigation firm in Mobile, AL seeks a professional for the position of Director of Marketing and Client Services. The Director will work closely with the firm Marketing Partner and Chief Operating Officer to support the firm's marketing and business development efforts.

Responsibilities for the position include publicizing the firm's successes and expanding the firm's referring attorney program; coordinating events; tracking marketing efforts; overseeing the advertising and branding efforts of the firm; managing the firm's charitable giving; handling award submissions; assisting with the design and copy of communications, including firm newsletters, promotional materials and websites; and creating new opportunities for firm promotion.

Requirements:

• A minimum of four years experience in marketing and business development in a professional services environment. Law firm experience preferred.
• Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to focus in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional oral and written communications skills, and active analytical and organizational skills.
• Must have a professional demeanor and able to earn the confidence and respect of the firm's lawyers and staff.
• Ideal candidates are proactive with a hands-on approach and proven accomplishments, and have demonstrated resourcefulness and resilience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe and online marketing resources and familiar with graphic design principles and software.
• An undergraduate degree is required. A degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Business or a related field is preferred.
