$192 Million Verdict for Inventor in Intellectual Property Case

Mannsfeld v. Ineos Phenol, et al. | Mobile County Circuit Court | Case No. CV-06-001956

Cunningham Bounds represented Dr. Sven-Peter Mannsfeld, a chemical expert, who created a method of transforming certain hazardous industrial wastes into lucrative manufacturing ingredients. Mannsfeld alleged that Ineos Phenol, et al. stole his idea and devised patents for the process in Germany, Belgium, the European Union and the United States. Cunningham Bounds obtained a verdict for Mannsfeld in the amount of $192 million.
