Defective Cars

Anyone who listens to the news is aware of car manufacturers issuing recalls due to defective cars and automobile components.  What some people do not realize is that the defects that prompt the recalls often cause numerous injuries and deaths.  The reasons for the defects are numerous, ranging from faulty ignition switches, fuel and brake system failures, door systems that are activated in an accident causing occupants to be thrown from a vehicle, seatbelt and airbag failures, and more. Regardless of the cause of the defect, defective cars are responsible for many of the car accidents American citizens are in each year, resulting in them being severely injured, disfigured or killed.

Whether due to error, negligence or overriding economic considerations, automobile manufacturers place people at grave risk when they market and sell defective cars. At Cunningham Bounds, we have successfully fought on behalf of accident victims who have been injured due to defective cars. Call us if you have been injured in an accident you believe is due to a defective car. We care about getting you the compensation you deserve and holding car manufacturers accountable for making safe vehicles.
