RECALLED! BREAD SOLD IN ALABAMA RECALLED DUE TO GLASS FRAGMENTS

|

Bimbo Bakeries – the company that makes Sara Lee and Nature’s Harvest – is recalling some 48,000 packages of bread. Some of these products were sold in Alabama. In all, the recalled bread products were sold in 11 states. The safety hazard identified by the manufacturer is glass fragments in or on the bread. If ingested, the glass fragments can potentially cause serious injury, internal bleeding, and even wrongful death.

The recall involves seven (7) different Sara Lee products. The defective products are sold under the following labels: Nature’s Harvest, Great Value, Kroger, L’Oven Fresh, and Bimbo. The recalled products have “Best By” dates from August 29 to September 1. They also have a listed “Bakery Code” of 1658. Protect your family and loved ones from injury by checking your bread to see if it falls within the recall.

Also, as with all injuries and deaths caused by a defective product, it is vitally important to preserve the product if you are a victim – as it will likely be key evidence in proving a claim for damages.
