Cunningham Bounds Sponsors Event for McKemie Place Shelter for Homeless Women

The law firm of Cunningham Bounds served as the Host Sponsor for Mobile’s 2016 Holiday “Parade of 3s” benefitting McKemie Place. McKemie Place is Mobile’s only overnight shelter for homeless women.

The “Parade of 3s” was initiated by Mobile City Councilman C.J. Small and State Rep. Barbara Drummond, representing District 3 and District 103 respectively, who decided to make the parade a fundraiser for McKemie Place.

The attorneys and staff of Cunningham Bounds enjoyed helping with and participating in the parade that took place on Dauphin Island Parkway.

Boots & Jazz Brunch

Cunningham Bounds was pleased to sponsor Boots & Jazz Brunch, benefitting McKemie Place, Mobile’s only overnight shelter for single, homeless women. Proceeds from the event will help McKemie Place continue its mission of providing shelter for up to 70 women per night.

Cunningham Bounds Sponsors “Mobile’s Brightest Company” Trivia Contest

Cunningham Bounds was a title sponsor of Impact Alabama’s “Mobile’s Brightest Company” trivia contest. Teams played for local charities – with the winning team’s charity receiving $10,000. The Cunningham Bounds team chose to play for McKemie Place women’s shelter.

Impact Alabama is a nationally recognized, award-winning organization which partners with universities and colleges in Alabama to provide services throughout the state. The organization provides high-tech, free vision screenings to low-income pre-school-aged children; provides free tax preparation services; and provides opportunities for economic improvement to low-income working families.
