Is Your All-Terrain Vehicle on the Recall List Due to a Fire Hazard?

|

Yesterday, Polaris Industries issued a recall on its 2014 Sportsman 570 all-terrain vehicles (ATVs). Fuel can leak into the headlight pod posing a fire hazard for these ATVs. The recall involves more than 25,000 vehicles which were sold between April 2014 and May 2017 at Polaris dealerships. “Polaris” is printed on the front grill of the affected vehicles and “Sportsman 570” is printed on the side panel. Consumers should stop using these vehicles immediately. The model numbers included in this recall may be found at the U. S. Consumer Product Safety Commission website.

This recall follows an April 2016 Polaris recall of more than 130,000 recreational off-road vehicles (ROVs), also due to a fire hazard.
