CUNNINGHAM BOUNDS NAMED ONE OF THE TOP FIVE PERSONAL INJURY LAW FIRMS IN AMERICA
Dec 8, 2011
MOBILE, Ala. – In the inaugural issue of Benchmark Plaintiff, the
definitive guide to America’s leading plaintiff litigation firms
and attorneys, Cunningham Bounds was one of five law firms, and the only
firm in the Southeast, to receive a “National - Tier 1” ranking
for personal injury litigation.
According to Benchmark, Cunningham Bounds’ success “has everything
to do with an all-star team that brings their ‘best game for each
client, in every instance.’” Likewise, the national rankings
named Cunningham Bounds attorneys Greg Breedlove, Joseph “Buddy”
Brown, Robert Cunningham and George “Skip” Finkbohner as personal
injury “Litigation Stars.”
Benchmark also stated that the national section of its guide “identifies
the firms and attorneys who have displayed the ability to consistently
handle complex, high-stakes cases in multiple jurisdictions. These selections
are consistently recommended within the US business and legal communities
for the quality of their litigation professionals and trial work.”
In addition to the national rankings, Benchmark Plaintiff also released
rankings of the leading local litigation firms by state. In the local
markets, firms were divided into two categories: “highly recommended”
and “recommended.” Cunningham Bounds was only one of four
firms statewide, and the only firm in Mobile, to receive a “highly
recommended” ranking. Eight attorneys from the firm were named “Local
Litigation Stars,” as well: Greg Breedlove, Joseph Brown, Toby Brown,
David Cain, Robert Cunningham, George Finkbohner, Steven Nicholas and
Steve Olen. Firms making the statewide list are considered dominant in
their areas, and were recommended as reputable and effective litigators
by both clients and peers.
Benchmark defined its methodology as follows: “The guide’s
results are the culmination of a six-month research period that allows
our researchers to conduct extensive interviews with litigators and their
clients. During these interviews, we examine recent casework handled by
the firms and ask sources to offer their professional opinions on litigators
practicing within their state or national practice areas. In an effort
to provide the most accurate and comprehensive coverage of the US litigation
market, we have taken a two-fold approach to our research.”
