MOBILE, Ala. -- Mobile law firm Cunningham Bounds, which already represents
clients in five class-action lawsuits against BP LLC over the Gulf of
Mexico oil spill, has filed three more.
Orange Beach Marina, Dauphin Island Marina and other marinas have sued
BP along with Transocean Ltd., which owns the drilling rig. It also names
Halliburton Energy Services and Cameron International Corp., which manufactured
the blowout preventer that failed to shut off the oil flow.
The Original Oyster House is the lead plaintiff in another case, which
seeks to represent all restaurants along the Gulf Coast that are impacted
by the spill.
The third suit, filed by Blue Water Yacht Sales and Services, represents
boat dealerships and their employees.
