AMTRAK SETTLES LAWSUITS OVER TRAIN DERAILMENT

The 1993 Amtrak "Sunset Limited" train crash occurred in a remote bayou area just north of Mobile, Alabama, making it the worst passenger railway disaster in U.S. history. Forty-two passengers and five crew members were killed, many of them drowning in submerged rail cars. Cunningham Bounds’ attorneys served as counsel for all 247 victims and their families.
