The United States District Court for the Northern District of California has determined that the settlement of this case is fair, adequate and reasonable, and entered a final order approving the Settlement. The settlement became final on December 16, 2005. Plaintiffs alleged that certain cars manufactured by Ford Motor Company contained defective intake manifolds, manufactured out of plastic. Class members’ whose intake manifolds have not failed, will be covered unto a seven-year retroactive extended warranty.
