A Board Certified Civil Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, a distinction that speaks to his expertise in civil litigation, Toby has leveraged his experience and insight to secure numerous notable victories. In addition to a track record of success that includes his role as lead and co-lead counsel on a $108 million verdict against a chemical plant for disposing hazardous waste and a $140 million verdict against a hospital and medical transcription company whose negligence led to a fatal medication error (both of which have been included in the Top 100 Jury Verdicts in America as published by the National Law Journal and VerdictSearch), he has also held prominent memberships and leadership roles in the legal community. This includes serving as a past President of the Alabama Association for Justice and the Alabama Civil Justice Foundation.
