Cunningham Bounds Earns Prestigious Benchmark Litigation Honors in Alabama and Georgia for 2027

|

Benchmark Litigation has recognized Cunningham Bounds in its 2027 US rankings. Our firm earned a "Highly Recommended" ranking in Alabama, and for the first time, a "Recommended" ranking in Georgia.

The recognition follows our firm's shortlisting earlier this year for Benchmark's "Alabama Firm of the Year", adding to a series of recent national recognitions for our trial team.

Nine Attorneys Named 2027 Litigation Stars or Future Stars

Nine of our attorneys were recognized as Litigation Stars or Future Stars in Benchmark's 2027 edition, the publication's designations for trial attorneys consistently identified by peers and clients as having strong case records and courtroom results:

How Benchmark Builds Its Rankings

Benchmark Litigation develops its state rankings through extensive research, including interviews with litigators and clients. Unlike broader legal directories, the publication focuses exclusively on litigation and dispute resolution.

This is the first year Benchmark has ranked Cunningham Bounds in Georgia. The recognition reflects the reputation our Atlanta-based attorneys have built through their representation of plaintiffs in catastrophic injury, medical malpractice, and product liability matters across the state.

The Casework Behind the Recognition

Our firm has represented plaintiffs in Alabama, Georgia, and throughout the country for more than 65 years. We have recovered billions of dollars for our clients, including some of the largest verdicts and settlements in the country:

  • $12.1 billion recovered in the Deepwater Horizon litigation, following the largest offshore oil spill in U.S. history
  • $11.9 billion verdict against ExxonMobil on behalf of the State of Alabama for royalty fraud
  • $1 billion recovered for homeowners harmed by defective hardboard siding and shingles
  • $226 million recovered as co-lead counsel in a bondholder fraud case against HealthSouth, UBS, and Ernst & Young

If you or someone you love has been seriously injured, our attorneys are ready to talk with you about your case. Call (844) 417-0930 or contact us online.
