Kaylee is a trial attorney who advocates for individuals and families harmed by defective products, medical negligence, nursing home abuse, and other serious personal injuries. She focuses her practice on complex, high-stakes disputes and is known for her thorough case development, strong legal analysis, and ability to capitalize on key issues that shape the outcome of a case.

Prior to joining the firm, Kaylee spent the first four years of her career at a preeminent corporate defense firm, where she represented clients nationwide in both state and federal court. Her defense experience provides valuable insight into how defendants evaluate claims, assess risk, and develop case strategy, which she now uses to anticipate defenses and advocate effectively for her clients.

Kaylee is originally from North Alabama and graduated from Bob Jones High School, where her father served as the head football coach. He instilled in her a strong sense of competition and the importance of doing what is right. She went on to attend the University of Alabama, where she was involved in campus ministry and managed the official Twitter account for Alabama Baseball. Her younger brother later played baseball at Alabama and now plays professionally in the Boston Red Sox organization.

Kaylee earned her J.D., cum laude, from Cumberland School of Law, where she served as Managing Editor of the Cumberland Law Review and as Chief Justice of the Henry Upson Moot Court Board. She was also a member of the ABA National Moot Court Team, where her team won a regional championship and advanced to the national quarterfinals. Academically, Kaylee received Cumberland’s highest merit scholarship after finishing her first year at the top of her class and earned CALI Awards in Torts, Professional Responsibility, Constitutional Law, and American Law Practice and Procedure, which are awarded to the student with the highest grade in each course.
